If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be?
Me it would have to be John Wick. Perhaps he would enjoy a steak et frites and beer at a restaurant patio in Montmartre before scaling the 222 steps of bliss leading to his death and soon to be mega resuscitation. Or…..perhaps,
a Boeuf bourguignon served with a carafe of red Bordeaux wine which would lead to slurred speech and much laughter between two karate buddies him and I.
Pointing out the DogStar in the darkened azure would lead us onto discussions of astrology, physics and of course philosophy on the hottest days of summer, the “Dogdays”.
Watching all the women walk by with their grace, beauty and intelligence would leave us smiling with massive design and completely heightened spirits.
Dinner with the Baba Yaga would be a treat and I would gladly flip the bill upon listening to a treatise on gun maintenance being described for further indulgence at the range.
(I lost my original draft and it was REALLY great! anyways.)
I had a tape of a Chinese classical guitarist who recorded ALL of Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition on one instrument???? I searched in Vienna Austria for a manuscript copy but did not find one and so purchased a book for duo guitars instead of a solo score.
Brilliant it was the Chinese fella’s arrangement!!
