Which languages do you speak and how did that impact your life?
And me, my first language was French and we spoke French all the time. And apparently my mom told me that my dad spoke to me in English and my mom spoke to me in French. And then I went to French school, of course it was Catholic and then, but in the neighborhood, me and my friends, we all talked English, cause the USA type of thing to do. I took 3 years of German in high school. So French, I’m happy to know fluently because I like Baudelaire, Victor Hugo, Mishima translated to French. A Korean novelist Yi Munyeol translated to French.I have a book translated the French. I like writing in French. I’ve written some pretty good prose poetry and some rhyming poetry that’s half decent. I don’t know I get around Montreal pretty good knowing French, not to mention Trois Rivieres. And English, well, it’s kind of Germanic right and strong. There’s much cowboy rhetoric a lot and I get down to intellectual stuff, I like to read all kinds of stuff. Okay, thanks. Bye. Ohhhhhh, And most recently, I’ve been talking in Joual, it’s very interesting. My family was French, but we didn’t really cuss so much. My Grandma worked in Parliament type of thing, it was pretty like up straight French near almost French, from France, Parisian, and I’m having a lot of fun with joual, but it’s nasty, and blasphemous, lol!
Cheers!!!
