Frenchie’s lived here and took the train over the Rideau (thus called by the French coureurs for the look of Rideau Falls resembling a curtain) River to go and work in the lumber mills of Bytown, then hit the “pig -bars-” across the massive waterway now called Kichi Zibi Mikan. Vanier. It’ll get torn down! All of it! They ARE building new condos already on Montreal Rd. like REAL nice! Buy cheap, build em real beautiful and sell sell sell. Change is a coming. But the old little houses on Hannah, Marier, Lafontaine, are really kinda cool though but mold and such are frequent issues, yuk! Seen a lot of adventures they have though, family, crying babies, and cigarette smoke. Rench! But then I used to live in a clear plastic bag in the snow next to Le Cirque Eloize in Montreal. THAT was hell!!!🤣 no no!
