When I was maybe 10, both parents were out, my older bro too, I looked out at Moonie’s Bay, determined myself, and grabbed a frozen chicken from the box and stuck it in the oven. I waited hours it seemed and the thing never fully cooked. I did not eat that night and went to bed a sourpuss I think. Ohhhh! No no, an adult finally showed up and heated it correctly and we dined together.
