Beethoven & Schubert

Interesting to note, Schubert who idolized Ludwig was too SHY to speak to the composer of the 9th (A Clockwork Orange soundtrack). They would often find themselves in the same taverns but never did they speak. It is said that Beethoven was the masculine to Schubert’s feminin style, a yinyang of sorts…..hahahaha!!!! A male musical yinyang, ok! La ballerina La ballerina!!!!I call to your beauty!!!! Danke Schon!!! Kisses ALL OVER!!! Lol! Schubert never learned classic type cadence use which gives his music that magical appeal. Really a wonder of innovation, inventiveness, and imagination. Schumann, upon visiting Beethoven’s grave found a fountain pen upon it, he grabbed the sucker, and I like to think ran home to where Clara was waiting for him seated with Brahms and composed those whirlwind pieces that are so SET in a carnaval of brilliance.

Chopin of course the sickly keyboard poet was ever in attendance. Rare to see him perform it was, so SMART his music!
