Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love, Mahavishnu Orchestra

Visual exercise (to relieve some boredom in 2009 maybe)

So there’s people laughing at a joint downtown where birds are flying overhead, “better look up!” Say some, “they’re really pretty!” Says another in a bass tone. Someone starts philosophising, while the birds, two of them, fly off. All the while an elephant at the zoo across the street is humming louder and louder, a short scrawny dude says “hello!” and the elephant stops in a nano-second if you can believe it, probably an ulcer, and it trumpets a note, meanwhile a large babushka lady starts to sing the Star Spangled but can’t get the first few notes right. Then, a squirrel runs up a tree, jumps down then runs back up in spurt. All the while a crane is winging it to Japan, the squirel called out before this ascent and all calms to silence.

Lol!

Thank you for reading!!!

Nico
