Balance work and home life

How do you balance work and home life?

Hi, me in the summer I have long weekends, except I do sell my books, lots of free time with no significant responsibility to weigh me down. In the winter it’s a different shift and with my martial arts I maybe get 2 seperate days off not in a row, it was stressing a bit, but it works out just great. I do flip comic books too, and this is very easily done, you only need ebay and some insight in the market> buy an important raw comic book in REALLY good condition, shop around. Then, send it in to CGC to be graded, it’s gambling a bit but fun, if it comes back 9.0-9.8 you may of made some money, at 9.8 probably. —Do your own research— I painted in the Golden Triangle in the capital here, and painting, drywall, cleaning, stair rug installation, concrete demolition, aluminum siding, digging trenches, snow removal, etc. was great fun with those characters ex-military, ex-biker, this that, and I learned a lot there! AND, but the Friday night once the week was over was quite exciting. Then I would rest up during the rest of the weekend.

Cheers!!!

Thanks for reading!!!

Nico

  3. Hi Nico! I really enjoyed reading about how you balance your unique rhythm through the seasons. It’s inspiring how you’ve blended passion, creativity, and hustle—whether it’s flipping comics, painting, or martial arts. Your winter routine sounds intense, but the way you make it work and still find joy (and even excitement on a Friday night!) is admirable.

I write about finding harmony in the chaos too—especially as a twin mom navigating life’s wild ride. If you’re ever in the mood for some heartfelt stories and laughter from the toddler trenches, come visit:
