Domaine Forget Academy

So, I got to the site and received an I.D. from a ballerina. Then I hurried over to the barracks and met everyone, but it did not take me long to get sidetracked tabarnacle AND start some well earned aventure!!! I grabbed my guit. one morning and set off into the beautiful hills of the Charlevoix making acquaintance with birds an unruly fox and a wandering maestro who was taking a stroll; mind filled with Bach, Beethoven and Mozart he was. Me, Schoenberg tearing a hole in my mind and starving a bit for sleeping in past the grub call, I would walk up to this stream there is there and drooling over the rushing waters. I’d take a nylon guitar string, unwind it, and with the inner part make a fishing line and a hook with the metal part. Newly whittled stick in hand, line and hook now baited with a white grub I’d throw the larvae into a stream pool just by the overcast of the rocky contours beneath which hung out small trout waiting for a morning snack. Bango! Fish on! Carefully unhook and place the sakana into the water filled pocket of my guitar case. Four five more and I was set! Happy as hell, I’d run down the many mountain paths and hit the highway then down to the St-Laurence Seaway where there was a train track, the beach, a pier, seafood catches, and a lovely little beach house which housed two soon to be friends. Make a fire on the beach, gut the fish, and stick them head first on sticks to cook over the flames, YAM!!!!!! So good!!!!!! Kipling on the pier, boozing it up with two girls I gratefully met, practicing my behind off in the unreal acoustics of these tiny…., some the size of barns I must say, brilliant sounding,….wooden music practice huts! Never went to class Lol!, got DISTRACTED and took a walk the day of the masterclass I auditioned for and was accepted to attend and perform at for my playing of a piece by Barrios, Woops Lol! “Le Fantome du Domaine👻” I was comicaly nick-named for my walking back into town after dark to grab some shuteye after a day of Villa-Lobos, J. S. Bach, Carcassi, and reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, AMAZING book!!!! Yikes! AND, I never played so good UP TO THAT POINT in my life.😉The fox I would later meet again in a Chan Buddhist text and a book of ancient Chinese legends🙌, Love them!!!

True story, if I could redo some I would have gone to the masterclass etc.!!!

Thank you for reading!!!

Cheers!!!
