Cuba 2025 day 4

Woke up very well rested and ready to greet the day with a smile! Left the room, headed down the stairs to the restaurant for a delicious breakfast. Then, out to the pool area where there are souvenir vendors, I bought gifts. Then ladies and gentlemen!!!!!

Lovely people. Read from Henri Miller’s Tropic of Capricorn, very funny scenes in this book so far, I’m reading it for the second time, how far he could go, writing about a slice of rye bread is extraordinary and very comical. Incredible people on the beach. Then I got up off the beach chair and back at the hotel I met the crew. Quick stop at the restau. for a pina colada for Sensei and we hit the road. Took a bus to Varadero, there we walked about the mouth of what I suppose was a river or an inner body of water, glorious blue water it had. I spoke to a piscator, he related to me that he could catch Barracuda and another kind of fish which I cannot remember the name now. We hit a restau. and I, being the only one hungry, ate two ham and cheese sandwiches, tipped in U.S. which is IT here in Cuba, and we caught the bus back. Many old U.S. beautiful cars!!!! Also, I saw a very happy almost nag like looking horse pulling a couple seats, the beast looked very content, trotting down the highway, the owner greeted him and I. Back at the hotel I sang some AC/DC, fixed a coffee, and wrote this recounting. Napped.

Karate-ka bro stuck in his hotel bathroom for several hours! Jeez! Can you guys imagine???? Anyway, our Sensei found him and hotel staff got him out.
NOW! I’m back from eating at the best buffet! It was really good! I especially enjoyed the cake deserts! The three of us sat there eating, laughing and having a ball! Took a shower, watching the car race and if I feel like it>>>>>> plenty of matcha tea to fuel my cells with brilliant health.
