My mother met him at their farm, HUGE heart for a horse. My favorite is American Pharaoh who won the Triple Crown AND the Breeders’ Cup, the GRAND SLAM!
I ride English, whip, hat, boots in gear and when bareback it’s a handful of mane and and a cigarette on the brain. I have not trotted in a century it seems but for a couple trips to some riding farms around the valley here with schools at the time and a weird uncertainty I have consisting of a perhaps dream of me riding in company across a field in Colorado which then transmutes into a parking lot on Riverside Dr. at a church with the wooded area where we used to run about in our gangs with plastic guns shooting to kill like Emerson Lake and Palmer. The chicks riding about in John Wick 4 before Bill Skarsgård’s character are the same actors who are playing some of those swat killers I read. English riding is divine and great exercise too, one stands on the ball of the feet with every bounce and onward it goes across the barn. Those beautiful beasts go nuts during thunderstorms kicking their stalls like demons of the netherworld or perhaps fighting such things off to tell you the truth. Fascinating creatures. Clydesdales when being steered by a woman make for a dramatic show and the girls are so beautiful thus. Anyways, I am thrilled to be alive in a century that saw a triple crown winner AND the extra for the Grand Slam with the Breeders Cup. Tried to find Marcello Mastroianni’s brand and model of sunglasses he wears next to the actress playing his wife in Fellini’s 8 1/2 which I screened tonight. Prada it said SPR 07. I found a rep. at Amazon but wont buy them because I can’t justify purchasing another pair of cheap 10-30$ sunglasses when I have about 20 already! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I’ll press the buy button eventually.
LOVE IS GRAND!
