The Thai Sword

Once upon a time on the other side of the city.

We were partying me a couple of Cree guys, a Bolivian dude and a military psycho who had seen some bad stuff in eastern Europe. We were up to no good,  up all night drinking the booze, no chicks around to keep us in line, and thus the following unsued. I woke up in the morning in the military man’s pad, eyes blurry from a stressful sleep, looked around the room and noticed the military dude swinging a Thai katana in my direction, as I lay on the couch half asleep. My friends were at the kitchen counter, yelling, “Don’t do it!!! Don’t do it!!!”. I snuck a trick. I quickly closed my eyes and pretended to be still asleep jutting quick glances to protect my arms and legs. And when things seemed to be, a little calmer… I opened my eyes and the whole lot of us bolted for the door. The three of us ran the hell out the door while the military man was in his bedroom fixing other parts of his brain. We went running down the stairwell like a bunch of school kids out of a cinema after having watched A Nightmare on Elm Street. “Was that a sign???? Was that a sign????” was asked as we ran down the stairs, “HELL NOOOOO!!!” I THOUGHT, “NOT ME— EVER!!!!”while running for my life. Oh man , Oh man, don’t ever skip the whiskey line when partying with these dudes. Although I HAD paid for the evening’s festivities. I’ve seen him since and he’s passed me some money L.O.L.
