Describe one of your favorite moments.
Hi, me right now I’m thinking of a stretch of the kichzibi river that leads to an old canal, the canal is beautiful! Huge pine, cedar, etc. islands, shallows, deeps, fishing holes, weed lines. At the start I speed up the outboard then quickly turn off the engine, lift up the propeller and glide over an underwater rock shelf to make it into the area. Then it’s chill chill chill, smooth sailing, no waves like just outside in the main currents, you just float downstream, fish, and enjoy it all in the hot sun😋. At the end is a set of booms you boat over and you’re back into the main river. Much trolling further down, for pickerel….but here you have to stick to the course or else you’ll hit rocks and fup your engine lol. Then there’s an old abandoned train bridge that spans the river, it’s high up, and wonderful to see. I could go on! This is a favorite moment of mine, boating here and elsewhere.
Thank you for reading!!!
Cheers!!!
