Life before the internet

Do you remember life before the internet?

Ya! We were a kid skateboard gang in the suburbs, and we’d sneek out at night, get chased by cops, hopping fences, lighting saltpeter fires in the woods, climbing on top of the church, just all kinds of stuff.

What we liked to do that was funny a bit was in the early morning hours we’d redecorate the lawns of unsuspecting owners>> moving plastic pink flamingos a couple feet in different standing, such like this, it cracked us up.

Ohhhhh! We were bad sometimes. Ya! We stole some gasoline for this guy’s garage once and set a daytime VERY busy street on fire stopping traffic, lucky it was WAY early in the morning, only one car showed up, stopped and drove around the flames unhindered. Woops.

Also, I played a lot of guit. we had music books that we had to haul ass downtown to buy at the music shop, not on the net, and I usually learned everything by ear using a tape deck I’d stop to rewind when I was missing a note or two, now of course it’s all available in song lesson videos on Youtube and tab is easily found, BUT, I cross reference and use my ear because there’s some bad shit out there posted lazy bum, wrong chords stuff like that.

Not that there’s anything wrong with a lazy bum?? (‘xcept when they noodle)

Zzzzzzzzz😴

Back to snooze ville.

Cheers!!!
