Tamerlane

Daily writing prompt
If you could be a character from a book or film, who would you be? Why?

Hi, me I was reading a book on the history of Kazakhstan and there was a nomad rebel who went by the name Tamerlane, named thus because as a young man he got into a fight and was hit by an arrow or two in one leg and arm. He was a good leader but a little brash compared to Khan for instance. He must of been quite the dude, I don’t know, I like this guy’s story, maybe him. Batman (not Superman Lol) is pretty wicked especially the version by the guy who played the European kid in The Empire of the Sun, comics are rad and I have Batman The White Knight by…..Sean Murphy in my Amazon cart, I’ve owned the series before but I gave them away to a friend, and just bought him some pants ’cause he’s dirt poor. And, as a close how about Keanu in Speed???? That would rock!!!!!

Cheers!!!!!

Thank you for reading!!!

Nico

  1. This post feels like opening a treasure chest filled with leather jackets, ancient swords, and speeding buses. Your choices are bold. They don’t walk into a room—they crash through the ceiling and say, “Let’s fix this mess.”

Tamerlane? A desert storm with a plan. Batman? A rich night owl who turns pain into purpose. And Keanu in Speed? The only man who can flirt, fight, and defuse a bomb—all while driving.

These aren’t just cool characters. They’re walking metaphors. They show us what we secretly want: to be calm in chaos, to fight shadows with style, and to save the day without spilling coffee.

I love that your heroes don’t sit around solving puzzles. They are the puzzle—complex, cracked, and kind of awesome. Makes me wonder… maybe we don’t choose characters. Maybe they choose the parts of us that need to wake up.
