Hi, I love the Olympics, the next up are in Los Angeles, the CBC here has coverage, I like watching the boxing myself! Last time around they threw it out hey? Funny, they removed the necessity for head gear but apparently it is safer, anyways boxing is back on. One great alumni is the great Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya!!! This guy can box!!! 45 fights, 39 wins, 30 KO, 6 losses. 11 world titles in 6 weight classes, including lineal championships in 3 weight classes. LINEAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!! “The Man Who Beat the Man”! He won gold at the 1992 Summer Olympics in the lightweight division. So me, I got into boxing at a club in Montreal and the manager of the grocery store I worked at would pass me VHS tapes of HBO fights and the first one I watched was the Gatti vs De La Hoya fight!!!! When I watched this fight I was blown away by his brilliance in the ring! He really gets angry when hit in the head I noticed, no lalala human steps in Oscar’s mind, it’s an eye for a head. He’s highly recommended to watch. Tito Trinidad is AMAZING too!!! Ehm, Fernando Vargas….etc. But back to the Olympics, I like watching the Russian pole vaulters, AND!!!!! ALL the running too!!! Ohhhhhh! The Great Roy Jones Jr. was apparently robbed some in South Korea, knocking people out left and right probably, like he does right? But the naughty judges fell in favor of Park Si-hun though. Boxing, well, many judged sports are BRUTAL when it comes to points decision proper concepts hey? But anyways, what a smashing pro career he had! Taking out a Heavyweight too in John Ruiz. Left, Right hook, jab jab jab!!!! Come on GUYS!!!!!!🥊😶
