Eiji Yoshikawa

There is a great movie series called The Samurai Trilogy.

It stars Toshiro Mifune as Takezo, Miyamoto Musashi.

I must re-watch these three!

Hiroshi Inagaki directed.

Anyways, I read the story in French while sipping beer at The Royal Oak after my security guard gig at Place Bell.

It was SO good to read! Such a perfect two books, the love stories, the dueling, the philosophy. I have perfect images of what I read, and I’m SO happy.

Highly recommended.

    1. Wooooh! So it’s Takezo and Matahashi who go to Sekigahara they escape, meet akemi and her mom, Takezo has Otsu. Takezo’s story evolves where Takuan, the Japanese pickle guy, locks him in a castle and forces him to study, he is renamed Miyamoto Musashi, THEN Rojie, he duels, and his arch nemesis Sasaki Kojiro (he may not be an historical figure) comes into play too, what a story!
