Hi, I just bought this really neat book here! “Smokey’s” tale, The Rainbow, interpreted by Jean Miso.
Me and my buds Jerry Chokamolin and Matt used to busk and pan in the Byward Market mostly, both Cree, at least Jerry was, Matt I’m not sure, he was from Saskatchewan I believe, Jerry was from Moosonee.
We’d make our coin then send someone on a “mission” to the LCBO to buy a large bottle of sherry. Usually, this half Bolivian scout guy Marco, lol, just joke, we’d take turns, but usually, the NEW GUY was sent. Did it ever taste good! Then, after I’d black out and wake up with a chipped tooth or something…. we’d do it all over again.

So ya, so now I’m learning Cree some I really dig it.
FUNNY: I asked an Inuk chick a while back how to say hello in Inuk. She waved at me, smiled, and said, “Hello!!!”
❤️
Ok cheers!
Nico
