Napoleon Bonaparte

If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?

Hi, me, I would like to meet Napoleon Bonaparte! My great grandfather Napoleon Villeneuve ran a barber shop out in the woods someplace. He kept a bottle of green ointment, which he used to treat boils and such on the hunters, etc. that came out of the bush, many aboriginal, boucheron, trapeure, etc.

Namesake, the dude was!

Bonaparte was born on “L’Isle de Beaute” Corsica! I saw this huge statue of him in Bastia, I had no idea he was from there. Joaquin Phoenix played him recently in a Ridley Scott flick, but I have not seen it yet. Half way through Les Miserables, Victor Hugo paints the Battle of Waterloo amazingly!!!! I really enjoyed reading his description. WOW!!!!🖋

Beethoven adored him until he proclaimed himself Emperor.

His first wife, Josephine, was his true love, and Marie Louise, his second wife, didn’t know much about it, but she gave him a son. (Just looked it up for lack of memory)
