A couple cool connections

The miracle of Mozart!!!!!!!!

My favorite piano concerto is 21 in C major first movement.

Love it all!!!!! Everything he wrote!!!!! Love his trip.

Leonard Cohen: “The maestro says it’s Mozart, but it sounds like bubble gum” lol

It is said that our Glen Gould did not like to play Mozart, he was a Bach, Beethoven pro n’est-ce pas? Oh!!! A funny fugue is Gould’s “So you want to write a fugue”. (🙃)

Mozart and Beethoven each studied under the father of the symphony, Haydn. He had them study counterpoint out of a manual, Gradus Ad Parnassum by Joseph Fux (I dispatched these exercises in no time). Beethoven WOULD NOT finish his homework under Haydn, instead passing his studies to a friend to finish for him, funny enough.

Beethoven, of course, met Mozart in 1787, at 17, played for the ultimate musical genius and Mozart was all in.

I studied piano here in Hull with a student who had direct lineage to Franz Liszt, who was taught by Czerny, who, of course, was taught by Beethoven!

Oh ya!!!!!

(But my piano playing is not similar to Rachmaninoff’s lol)

Beethoven once threw a dinner party, invited some friends over. He had a blue apron on and cooked up a watery stew with some meat. (This image cracks me up!)

Well, I thought these ideas would be revelatory. I hope they make people smile.
